Job Goal:

Contribute to the success of the agency through effective and efficient project management for both internal teams and external clients. Help the agency grow by recognizing opportunities for client growth during or after projects.

Balance the expectations and needs of the client with those of the NBA team on all managed jobs.

Job Summary:

The Agency has two types of clients:

Retainer-Based Clients
Project-Based Clients

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the success of all project-based jobs within the agency. The PM onboards clients, puts together timelines and work plans, sets up the client and jobs in the project management system, coordinates the internal team to produce the work, manages billing, and reports on the progress and success of the client work.

The PM also assists Retainer-Based clients as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is responsible for the success of client + internal projects:

Project Management
Manage project-based clients and projects efficiently, updating the project management system regularly, ensuring project details and supporting information is provided to the internal team. Ensure project deadlines are met through the proper delegation of tasks and facilitation of work.

Project Billing
Coordinate billing on managed projects with accounting department to ensure accurate project billing.

Provide leadership team with performance reports on a weekly basis, + at project completion, to monitor + improve the performance of all project-based jobs.

Develop copy for client + agency as requested.

Assist +/or lead strategy for client + agency as requested.

Assist Director of Operations
Provide assistance to Director of Operations as requested.

Client Meetings
Attend client meetings as needed to provide effective communication and ensure clients are pleased with services provided.

Manage Personal Schedule

What You Have:

2-3 years of project management experience in an agency setting

A college degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business, Marketing or related field

Strong writing skills with a demonstrated proficiency in developing creative ideas under a definitive brand voice

A high level of success in client communication

Proven ability to successfully manage projects within the creative field

Understanding of branding, graphic design, marketing, strategy, social media and digital advertising

Experience with WordPress and managing website design + development projects

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive

Ability to multitask, delegate, meet deadlines under pressure and work independently
